How School Election Funding Works
The Ministry of Education provides funding to all State and State-integrated schools and kura that need to hold elections.
Our pricing structure aligns with this funding model. In most cases, this means:
The invoice will match the Ministry funding formula, meaning there is generally no additional cost to your school or kura.
We also keep things simple:
- No hidden fees
- No additional charges for postage
- No unexpected administration costs
The price is based primarily on your student roll, and covers everything required to run your election.

Parent Triennial and Mid-Term elections are invoiced in two parts. 70% is invoiced at the close of electoral roll, and the additional 30% is invoiced only if your election proceeds to a vote, in line with how Ministry funding is paid to schools and kura. Staff elections and student elections are all invoiced in full at the close of electoral roll. Parent By-elections are invoiced in full after the close of the election.
